Jonathan Litteral
Jonathan was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida and grew up attending a C&MA church there. His grandparents were Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea and his father was born and raised in New Guinea. As a result, Jonathan and his older sister Bethany, who is his best friend, call themselves “missionary grandkids” since their upbringing was closer to that of their father’s jungle childhood than to that of an average American household. Jonathan and his sister were homeschooled up to 11th grade and both attended Wheaton College (IL), the alma mater of his parents and 3 of his grandparents. While at Wheaton, Jonathan studied health science but realized that he did not want to pursue a career in that field. After 2 years off from school, he is now taking online classes with Crown College (a C&MA affiliated school in MN) in pursuit of a degree in Global Leadership.
Jonathan is inspired by the long-lasting impact that his grandparents left through their missions work and strives to live a life dedicated to serving Christ and serving others. He has a calling to help those who feel forgotten or alone and to remind them of the love that Christ has for them. He also enjoys being active, having deep personal conversations, and spending quality time with others.
